Love that you come in and there are red towels for when you get messy, and they bring hot washcloths at the end. We came here for the ribs and were not disappointed. The half rack meal with 2 sides, plus an extra side, was more than enough food for 2 people. Ribs were smoked and had a delicious rub with barbecue sauces at the table you could add as needed. Brussel sprouts were tasty, as was the Mac n cheese. The street corn she warned us was served cold and it was like a salsa with a sauce on it, not for everyone but still good to me. The cornbread was also fantastic and not salty, but with visible corn in it. Food was served fast and drinks were strong. Highly recommend.

This place was right in front of my hotel so I finally decided to give it a shot. Kind of pricey so for my first time I decided to proceed with caution and ordered the rib appetizer (see pic) that came with a small portion of Cole slaw. Realize that these ribs don't have straight bones like baby backs etc so most of the meat is on top of the ribs but I felt it was worth the price. My favorite ribs are from Shorty's BBQ in S Florida but I enjoyed these and would buy them again. This app was $18 vs many of the entrees at $30 +

Was walking around NYC on a recent trip and decided to try this place out for a late lunch. Our server Chris was amazing. He was very kind (and funny) and gave us the perfect recommendations. The restaurant is surprisingly large with downstairs and upstairs dining. Both the drinks and food came out quickly and were delicious. We order one large meal and shared it and it was the perfect amount!

There is nothing fake about this BBQ. The ribs are good and so are the bartenders. Jon took care of me at the bar. He was fast, efficient, made good drink, and did it all with a smile. A+ service. The ribs here are really good. My complements to the pitmaster for an amazing job with the rub. The ribs were excellent. Solid A rating. The ambiance is a bit of a let down. Mostly because of all the noisy tourists and people taking up room at the bar with their huge suitcases.

In NYC for a birthday celebration and a fellow Texan recommended this place. Just so happens it was across from my hotel. Me and Husbae stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. Erin our waitress was amazingly attentive and the place itself was a chill vibe with great music playing. I love it when a place caters to every genre. Anyway I ordered the fried catfish with Cole slaw and fries, Mr ordered the 1/4 rack with greens and Mac n cheese. Everything was prepared perfectly. Ribs come out naked with dry rub on them. The greens had a tinge of sweetness and the Mac n cheese had a smoked flavor resembling smoked Gouda. The Cole slaw was complemented with bread and butter pickles chopped inside. The catfish was a generous sized filet that had a combo wet and corn meal batter. Not too much seasoning on it but it had enough to be flavorful Loads of sauces to choose from and they even celebrated my birthday with me. Great place to stop in if you have the time while in NYC!
